“I’m always looking for the next creative challenge”

“From a musical perspective, I can lose all sense of time if I get caught up in a gripping series. What makes a great movie or TV series. For me, it must have quality ingredients;  a gripping story line, a great cast, convincing acting performances, imaginative cinematography and really good music that compliments each section or scene. I have  been put off many decent productions because of an overbearing soundtrack, it’s not convincing to have an endless loop swelling in and out, or an mundane music library piece running throughout each scene, it takes away from the performance and impact of the production. Music should enhance a great production and be in perfect harmony with the performance. It should raise your emotions, breed tension, anxiousness, be comical or tranquil, violent or horrific, create intrigue and questions, then give answers. Music is a story in itself…”
